Our Estate Wines
In 1998, we made our first vintage to be shared with friends and family. The first Morrison Lane custom crush was produced fall of 2002 with spectacular results. Building on the foundation of Dean and Verdie’s renowned vineyard, sons Sean and Dan Morrison have both been fortunate to have learned the art of winemaking from their friend and acclaimed winemaker John Abbott of Abeja. Youngest son, Dan, met John while working together at Canoe RidgeVineyard in the mid 1990s. Sean, who holds a bachelor of science in environmental science with a minor in chemistry, worked with John at Abeja for six years on the production team, leaving in 2011 to help his father in the vineyard, and his mom, Verdie, a graduate of the Walla Walla Community College Center for Enology and Viticulture, on wine production side.
Our vineyard produces high-quality fruit that, when combined with the family’s skill and care in winemaking, create balanced, elegant, wines full of the varietal characteristics and Walla Walla Valley terrior Morrison Lane are becoming known for.
